The school building appeared out of nothing on the town square of Seastone one day and noone really knows where it came from. Wilbur Weathervane has been appointed the first and so far only teacher at the reopened School for Wizardry and Witchcraft in Seastone. The only one still supporting him unconditionally is his trusty and rather fluffy companion, the Critter – or is it? However, there’s no money left by now and of all places he ends up on the flying island of his arch-enemy, the Red Pirate. For a while he’s been able to cash in on his victory over the arch-witch Mortroga. Nate doesn’t cope well with the break-up of Ivo and him. Is Ivo‘s mother, queen of the elves, involved in this? She wants Ivo to return to the heart of the family and has already chosen a more suitable mate for her daughter – one who shaves and does not smell of pirate. But for reasons unknown they suddenly split up. The elf princess Ivo and the adventurer Nate had grown fond of each other after the events of BoUT1. There are tons of puzzles, objects, characters and locations to discover (as a matter of fact: BoUT2 offers even MORE of that than the first part). The game offers classic point-and-click adventure gameplay, and we are guided by the successful BoUT1 formula: Whenever possible, we offer you, the players, parallel problems to solve, so that you can alternate between puzzles. Once again you play the gnome mage Wilbur, the adventurer Nate, the elf princess Ivo, and Nate’s furry companion, the Critter – alternately or simultaneously. It’s an homage to role-playing games and fantasy worlds, and banks on the same humor as BoUT 1. The thrilling story and the usual BoUT humour with its numerous nods to fantasy elements and colourful characters guarantee over 20 hours of fun gameplay.Like its predecessor, The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 takes place in the fantasy world of Aventásia. In The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 the player controls four different characters in a lovingly created fantasy world, and must solve some tricky logic puzzles in classic point-and-click style. The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 for Wii U is now available in retail outlets and the Nintendo eShop for EUR/USD 19,99. The Book of Unwritten Tales 2, the critically acclaimed sequel to the popular point-and-click adventures from Bremen developers King Art Games, is now available on Wii U.
