I found a registry hack that fixed it but was specifically for the Bisoncam that comes with most Asus laptops. I just bought this laptop today so I dont think its too old who knows maybe it is. You said that its probably cause its an old model of webcam and may be no drivers ever made for it. I checked the Hardware ID and its also USBVID05CAPID1870REV0100 same as someone else in this forum with a Dv9000 and Vista 圆4 (I think his name was Mosmax) which appears to be incompatible with the drivers you posted rather than the version of windows or the model of laptop. Ive re-loaded with Vista 32 bit from Scratch but no joy getting webcam to work with it. If Toshiba can release drivers, I cant see why HP cant be bothered. This is what it says in the inf: HdAudModel,HDAUDIOFUNC01VEN14F1DEV5047SUBSYS1179FF31 I dont know if they are of any use to anyone, they seem to install fine on my HP laptop. The microphone, i assume it is my fault since i have not dedicated much time to it.
